Middle School Mania

Today was the first day of my second art camp to teach at the Grace Museum, Middle School Mania. These kids, though creative, don’t seem to be as manic as some of the kids I’ve had before. Then again, it was Monday and some of them were still speaking in whispers.

We worked on architectural (3-d) alphabet letters and air-dry clay animals. Every one (students and my assistants included) exceeded my expectations with his or her animal creations – there are some really impressive works!
